[Syrupmakers] Draft control on furnace

Tracey,

 From what I have read about furnace design--and I am far from an 
expert--you'll probably want to regulate the air supply so that the 
exhaust temperature is about 800 F.  Although I don't do it, it would 
probably make sense to supply the air directly to the 
burner.  Whether stirring within the furnace chamber is a significant 
influence, I can't say.
