Ken,
   You beat me to the post!  That's okay. One of our Southern Syrupmakers Association members in Marianna, Florida received his copy of "The American Cane Mill" yesterday in the mail. His came from McFarland, the publisher. $75 plus about $6 shipping I think he said. The $75 price tag is the least that I have seen it offered for anywhere on the 'net.
     I was gone most of the day today and wasn't here to be the "early bird" to post the announcement.
     I know of several who have ordered the book---and even had a friend to recently offer me one as a gift. I look forward to seeing it!

I just heard from Carol Dean with the good news that Don's book
is now in print.  She just received her copy.  I have ordered mine, but
haven't received a ship date.  The publisher's website shows it as not
available yet, and Amazon.com also shows it as unavailable.  Has anyone 
gotten any shipping info from them yet?
