I had a 10 inch Excelsior mill and it had adjusters on the discharge roller. They are wedge shaped, made of cast iron. To adjust the roller all you do is tighten the wedge into the space it is in and that in turn lifts the roller closer to the upper roller. The feed roller is adjusted with shims.

I have an excelsior mill with a 10 inch roller. It is a power mill. does
anyone know how to adjust the discharge roller as there aren't any set screws to
allow for movement of roller nor any holes to install any. this is my first
mill so there may just be an over site on my part. any literature would also
be appreciated. I have looked on inter net with no success, also looking for a
80 gal. or larger kettle. I live in La.(Louisiana not lower Alabama ). will
be traveling to GA. in 2 weeks so pick-up would not be a problem, also as I
am just getting started I am also in need of seed cane.
