sam I cut the cane down Dec 31 and Jan 1 I have found that frost does not hurt the cane. A comment of the syrup I made was the best the customer has every had. He bough 2 gal at one time. Wanted to be sure he had enough. Hope to make more this week. Thanks for a great job at the Ozark meeting
