[Syrupmakers] syrup kettles

Several years ago we had a hard freeze one night with most of my cane still standing in the field. I ground and cooked one batch about 3 days after the freeze. The cane smelled sour and the juice smelled sour. I cooked it more as an experiment expecting to have to throw it away. The result was syrup as fine as I've ever cooked.
