[Syrupmakers] Chains and sprockets

Cool, that equations what I've been looking for, some way to figure lbs. of  
force.

You  need to divide by the radius in feet, ie 3" = 0.25ft.  2500ft lb of  
torque on the mill shaft with a 6" dia. sprocket would be 2500 ft lb divided  by 
0.25 ft = 10,000 lbs of force on the  chain.
