[syrupmakers] Huge Mill Up For Grabs

To cool some people's "fever" about that mill a little, I think it appropriate to let everyone know that a man in LA went to look at that mill a day or 2 ago and reported that parts of the mill are missing : the 7' bull gear for one and bearing caps also. Also there seems to be a dispute about ownership of the mill whicn involves the parts that are missing. I got this report from the man who looked at it and would have been interested in buying it. Maybe Tracy can verify that info when he gets over to see it himself and take pictures.....but I think folks might want to know this "late-breaking" news. Sorry.

  Also, it was reported that it is a 6 roller mill--like some of the commercial sugar mills and not quite as large as I had though it to be. I had pictures of it in June 2005 when it was complete.
