J.T.,
I would like to know that answer also along with my questions. Richard,
you posted here today. Do you have any input? I did do a google search but
it turned up other things for virus issues.
Thanks,
Ken R

Hey I'm the one that posted that a week or so ago. It sound like the same
thing that I have.
I have another question though. Can I remove the sprout and then squeeze the
cane this fall?

Hello,
I think I noticed an earlier post about sugar cane eyes sprouting above
ground off the stalk and this being a virus. I noticed today that some of my
stalks have eyes sprouting out about midstalk. Is this what was mentioned
and is this not edible cane? What harm does this do if it is a virus? Does
this stalk need to be destroyed or roots and all adjacent stalks too?
Thanks for anymore input on this issue.
Ken R
