[Syrupmakers] Kentucky Cane Mills???

David, I have a Kentucky # 4 made by Blymyer ( the same Patent awarded to Thomas Brennen in 1877 and sold by Brennen and co). If it is the same mill your right that the rollers are large especially the diameter. Specs are as follows
  2 horse- 16x12 inch 9 3/4x12 1,200 gallons/hr and around 1,300 pounds.
  The mill was pretty advanced for the time as the it could be oiled from outside the mill. The feed chute is split into several sections which slows me down in feeding it. Overall a great mill comparable to the Chattanooga 34 and Goldens 4x 4xx and 44x.

The rollers must be at least 16" tall and it appeared that all three might be the same size in diameter. I quickly walked up to it and it looked like the stamping said Kentucky Cane Mills #4. Of course my heart was fluttering as I go crazy when I see a mill. The lady who owns it says I will get first chance at it if she ever decides to sell it. I would dearly love to have it. Does anyone have one like this?
