Thanks, Clayton, for your reply. I am so glad I am not the only one.
I have never seen a seed head on our cane. I understand that all sorghum plants make seed, somewhat like millet. I dont know how to gather, seperate from hulls, nor anything else.
am hoping that someone on this site will have the answers.

At the syrup tastins that i attended, I was quite amazed that i could not tell the difference between sorghum and cane syrup.
So, i planned to plant some sorghum this year.
at the same time, I was looking for a mill to grind my own corn into cornbread. It seemed to me that i heard something about grinding sorghum grain into meal, and making pancakes out of it.
I want to try it. Yall keep me in mind when you get some sorghum seedheads ready for harvest. I will help gather for my toll.
