[Syrupmakers] POJs, Yellow Gal

Thanks so much for posting this--I have printed it out for my own reference.
It answered a lot of my questions about sugar cane, about which I know
little. I grow syrup sorghum every year, so I was curious to know the
similarities/differences between it and sugarcane. Great info. Of particular
interest to me is the info about the old, traditional varieties, since what
we try to grow in cane and everything else are primarily heritage types.
Just out of curiousity, how many on this list grow the "old" varieties of
sugarcane, and which
one(s)?
