[Syrupmakers]Sugarcane Field Day

  Dear Farmer,
  Please be advised that on Monday November 6th 2006, from 8:15 am until 12:00 noon, a cooperative extension program of the universities and the county, will be giving away sugarcane seed stock. There are a total of 18 varieties, which include 16 varieties of syrup cane and 2 chewing cane varieties. See list at the end of document.
  Each registered person is allowed to cut 20 stalks of each variety. You will need to bring your own cutting instruments to cut the cane stocks. For those who pass through agriculture checks with the cane, a disclosure statement will be included with each registration packet.
  The event will take place at North Florida Research and Education Center in Quincy, on Monday, November 6th 2006, starting at 8:15 am until 12:00 noon. It is advisable to arrive early, because it will be on a first come first serve basis. A registration fee of $5.00 will be charged per person.
