Good point Richard! I did not even notice that the calendar was for 2006. Guess I was just to impressed with what I saw in the settlement and what they where doing.

     I looked at the calender on the website of Panhandle Pioneer Settlement......Please note that the calender of events given on the webpage is for 2006, not 2007.(I don't know where the 2007 calender is on the website or if it is finished yet. Sorry.) We ARE scheduled to have our Southern Syrupmakers' annual meeting on January 27, 2007 and cordially invite syrupmakers to come.

      The Panhandle Pioneer Settlement says they have one slot open for a camper.  If interested you need to contact Willard Smith at pps at gtcom.net and tell him your arrival time so he can be there to open the gate for you.  Hope this helps.
